Installing Theme and plugins
You can install this WordPress theme using two installation methods:
Using WordPress Administration Panel.
Copying theme files to your server via FTP.
METHOD 1 (Normal)
Using ricky.zip found in ZIP file you downloaded from ThemeForest.net you should perform the following steps:
Login to WP admin.
Go to WP Dashboard → Appearance → Themes option and click on it to load new page.
Select Install Theme tab at the top of the panel to load new page.
Click on Upload Theme button at the top of the panel to load new page.
Click on Browse button and locate ricky.zip on your file system.
Click on Activate button.
Once installation is complete before need enter Your Purchase Code and click the button Continue to install and activate required theme plugins.
On the next step you will see theme’s splash screen with 5 buttons.
If you need additional plugins to extend the functionality of the theme, click the Continue button.
If you don’t need additional plugins, click on the Import demo button to import demo data your website.
After Importing Demo data you can customize theme, clicking on Customize button or go to WP Dashboard → Appearance → Customize
METHOD 2 (Using FTP)
Using ricky directory found inside of ricky.zip file located inside ZIP file you downloaded from ThemeForest.net you should perform the following steps:
Using FTP client you should login to server where your WordPress web site is hosted
Using FTP client you should navigate to /wp-content/themes/ directory under your WordPress web site’s root directory
Using FTP client upload ricky directory to themes directory on remote server
Once installation is complete you can activate Ricky theme here: WP Dashboard → Appearance → Themes
Import Demo
After you click Import Demo button you should choose demo to Import the content and theme options. You can open Import Demo page from WP Dashboard → Appearance → Import Demo Content as well.
Choose All checkbox and Import attachments, after that click Import button andwait several minutes while demo content importing.
Theme Customizing
After importing Demo Content go to WP Dashboard → Appearance → Customize and start customizing theme.
Site identity
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Site Identity and enter the Sitename and Tagline here.
Upload your favicon (Site Icon) as well. Site icon should be square and at least 512 x 512 pixels in PNG.
Colors
To customize how your website looks, including background color and accent color navigate to WP Customize Panel → Colors
Choose Text color for body text and headings.
Choose Accent Colors from the color palette.
Choose Background Color or use your own background color.
You can choose color for Borders and Modal Window Overlay.
Homepage Settings
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Homepage Settings
You can choose what’s displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.
Header
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header
Logo
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Logo
Upload your logo (PNG, JPG, SVG) here as well.
Desktop and Mobile versions.
Top Bar Settings
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Top Bar Settings
You can alight blocks to left or right place on Top Bar. Fill info and Set Colors.
Desktop Header
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Desktop Header
You can enable/disable to show Search button, Auth button, Wishlist button and Cart button. You can customize position of blocks on header. Enable / Disable Sticky Header.
Mobile Header
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Mobile Header
You can select Icons in menu. Choose Colors and set Height.
Page Header
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Page Header
You can show or hide breadcrumbs. Set Text Align for Header. Choose Colors and Type of Layout.
Custom Header Icons
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Custom Header Icons
You can choose Icons from default font or upload your Custom Icon Font.
Live Search
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Live Search
You can set type and number of products to show.
Advert Bar
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Advert Bar
You need choose predesigned HTML block for footer. Or you can customize blocks on link “Manage html blocks“.
Social Media Links
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Social Media Links
You can fill URL in all fields.
Header Misc
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Header→ Misc
You can Enable / Disable decor in main menu.
Footer
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Footer
You need choose predesigned HTML block for footer. Or you can customize blocks on link “Manage html blocks“.
Fonts
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Fonts
You can choose Fonts Combination (Google Fonts) or upload Custom Fonts.
Misc
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Misc
You can set sticky sidebar and custom icons for pages. Enable To Top Button.
Menu
Edit your navigation menu through the “Appearance → Menus” options.
Promotions
Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Promotions
You can choose grid options and page options. Set Permalinks.
Blog
Blog Page
To setup the main blog page/archive, navigate to WP Customize Panel → Homepage Settings in the WordPress admin and follow the steps below:
In the Your homepage displays section, click the A static page radio-button.
Select the page you want to use from the Posts page dropdown menu.
Finally, click the Publish button.
Blog Post
To create a new post, navigate to WP Dashboard → Posts → Add New You can enter a page title, add content, upload the featured image (thumbnail), choose linked category and put some tags
Post/Page Settings
To create a new page, navigate to WP Dashboard → Pages → Add New You can enter a page title and add content. You have the option of choosing Full Width page layout via the drop-down menu on the right titled “Template”
Go to WP Customize Panel → Post/Page Settings and choose style of Page Title. Here You can also hide or show different elements of posts and pages.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce Settings
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce
All WooCommerce settings in one place: General, Product Grid, Product Page, Shop Page, Brands, Wishlist, Related products, Up-Sells, Cross-Sells, Recently viewed, Store Notice and Checkout.
General
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → General
You can Disable purchase and choose Pop-up Cart layout. Search by SKU and Hide Uncategorized category. Set Hide category with products and Registration page.
Product Grid
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → Product Grid
You can set Products per page (Quantity) and type of Paging. Show or hide Categories and set Default product sorting. Show or hide Sidebar. Choose Grid Layout (Desktop) and Grid Width.
Next, you can choose Buttons Layout and Grid Layout on Mobile. Show or hide all elements in Items Block. Set color for Star rating.
Choose Image fit and Image aspect ratio.
Product Page
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → Product Page
You can choose any Product Page Layout: 2 columns, 3 columns or 2 columns + sidebar. Move blocks to different columns.
Select blocks to show in Quickview.
Settings for Product Tabs. You can hide or show all elements.
You can select Html block to show at the bottom of the product page. Set Image fit and enable/disable modal gallery.
You can set custom Html block of your Features in Product Page.
Features
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → Features
Is second method to show your features.
Shop Page
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → Shop Page
You can choose HTML block in top or bottom of Shop page.
Brands
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce → Brands
You can select Brand attribute and set Brand page.
Badges
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce →Badges
You can set and configure color and text of Product Badges.
Wishlist
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce →Wishlist
You can select Wishlist page and show or hide Share buttons.
Related products, Up-Sells, Cross-Sells and Recently Viewed
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce →Related products, Up-Sells, Cross-Sells and Recently Viewed
You can set Number of products and show or hide on Shop Pages. Change Position and Custom Header.
Store Notice
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce →Store Notice
You can show Store Notice on choose place, top or bottom of the screen and change text color or background.
Checkout
Go to WP Customize Panel → WooCommerce →Checkout
Set Fields to Required or Hide. Set Policy pages and Text.
Drag our unique widgets to your page in Elementor and fill with your content.

Use this options to improve speed of your website. Navigate to WP Customize Panel → Performance and check all 3 checkboxes.
Translation
This theme is localized, which means it can easily be translated to your own language (easy but quite time consuming). To translate it you need install and activated Free plugin Loco Translate.
Theme Updating
Information about the new update can be found on the description page in the right sidebar . In most cases update does not affect your settings or content but in any case please make a backup before any action and save your translation files . You can use All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Manually Install the Update
You can download the latest version of the theme in your Envato account and install the theme again according to the documentation before this delete old version .
Download the latest theme zip file from ThemeForest
Extract it and locate ricky.zip
Extract ricky.zip and locate the ricky/ folder
Copy/Replace content of the ricky/ folder to the /wp-content/themes/ricky/ folder of your web site
NOTICE: If direct customizations have been made to the parent theme, they will be overwritten when the theme is updated. The recommended way to apply theme file customizations is to use a child theme.
Also you can use Envato Market plugin for automatic upgrade theme
Download, activate and configure the Envato Market plugin. Please follow the instructions on the Envato website.
Also don’t forget to update the plugin Ricky Theme Functionality. If you do not have a message about the automatic update for this plugins then do the following steps. To update this plugins you need:
Navigate to the Plugins menu in your WordPress admin area.
