Extras section — the global manager for optional add-on services that guests can select during the booking process. Located in Catalog → Extras in the admin menu. The extras defined here are made available per room via the Extras tab on each room edit screen.
Extras list
A sortable table of all existing extras. Rows can be reordered via drag and drop. Table columns:
- Name — the extra name displayed on the frontend.
- Calculation — the pricing formula used for this extra (e.g. Price, Price * Nights, Price * Nights * Guests).
- Price ($) — the base price. For guest-based calculations, separate prices per Adult and Child are shown.
- Max — the maximum quantity of this extra allowed per booking.
- Always On — a checkmark indicates the extra is automatically added to every booking and cannot be deselected by the guest.
- Count — the number of rooms that have this extra enabled.
Add / Edit Extra fields
- Name — the label displayed to the guest during booking.
- Description (tooltip) — optional text shown as a tooltip or description next to the extra on the frontend (e.g. Full access to lift system for the duration of stay for one person).
- How it is calculated — defines the pricing formula. Four options are available:
- Price — a flat fixed amount added once per booking regardless of nights or guests (e.g. Cleaning Fee: $15).
- Price * Nights — the price is multiplied by the number of nights (e.g. Parking Spot: $5/night).
- Price * Guests — the price is multiplied by the number of guests. When this option is selected, separate price fields appear for each guest type: Price per Adult ($), Price per Child ($), and Price per Infant ($), allowing different rates per guest category.
- Price * Nights * Guests — the price is multiplied by both the number of nights and the number of guests. Same as above, separate per-guest-type price fields appear when this option is selected.
- Price ($) — the base nightly or flat rate. For guest-based calculation modes, replaced by individual per-guest-type fields as described above.
- Conditional price — alternative prices applied when specific conditions are met, using the same condition system as room pricing. Each rule has a Price ($) field and a Condition dropdown. Multiple rules can be added via + Add more. Use Manage conditions to create or edit conditions. The conditional price logic works per booking day: if a day falls under a condition, that day’s extra price is adjusted accordingly.
- Always On — when enabled, this extra is automatically included in every booking for rooms that have it enabled. The guest cannot remove it. Useful for mandatory fees such as Cleaning Fee.
- Maximum quantity in one order — sets the upper limit on how many units of this extra a guest can add. If set to 1, a simple checkbox is shown to the guest. If set to more than 1, a quantity input field is displayed instead.
